Legendary, and for good reason. Claridge's has retained its old world deluxe charm even though there is more than a touch of "Fawlty Towers" about it. Sometimes the service slips up, sometimes the doorman is wonderful; at others, he could be arrogant and dismissive


This truly is a beautiful hotel and we found the staff and the service generally to be exceptional. Our room, dressing room and bathroom were all very spacious, the bed extremely comfortable and we loved the gracious decor. Breakfasts were delightful, the only meal we ate at the hotel ( there are some excellent retaurants in the area) but we
